Binh Duong Heats Up with the Karate Open, Attracting Hundreds of Martial Artists
Thuận An, July 6, 2024 - The morning of July 6th saw the vibrant atmosphere of martial arts envelop Aeon Mall Binh Duong Canary as the opening ceremony of the 2024 Binh Duong Province Karate Club Open took place. The event gathered over 400 martial artists from 21 units, promising thrilling and high-level competitions.
Provincial leaders and relevant agencies attended and joined in the festivities with the athletes. Notably present was Mr. Nguyen Viet Long, Director of the Binh Duong Provincial Department of Science and Technology and Honorary Chairman of the Provincial Karate Federation, along with many other distinguished guests.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the matches commenced with great enthusiasm. Notably, the finals of the over 65kg male and over 56kg female categories in group 2 attracted a large audience.
The 2024 Binh Duong Provincial Karate Club Open not only created an enjoyable playground for students during the summer but also contributed to promoting the practice and competition of karate in the region. Simultaneously, it provided opportunities for athletes to exchange, learn, and improve their professional skills in preparation for future national sports tournaments.
Closing Ceremony of the 2024 Thuận An City Taekwondo Club Open
After two consecutive days of competition on July 12th and 13th at the South lobby of AEON MALL Binh Duong Canary, the 2024 Thuận An City Taekwondo Club Open officially concluded on the evening of July 13th.
At the closing ceremony, after completing the finals, the organizing committee announced the official results. Hoang Van Thu Club (Dong Nai) won the overall championship with an impressive record: 3 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 4 bronze medals.
The tournament witnessed the shining performance of Duc Tri Club from Thu Dau Mot City, with two athletes, Ho Chuc Linh (40kg female) and Ho Nha Quyen (46kg female), competing excellently and bringing home two valuable gold medals for the team.
