BỘT CHIÊN – VIETNAMESE FRIED RICE CAKE WITH EGG STREET FOOD

Social distancing make you miss the street food dishes so bad? So today AMBD will tell you how to make a simple fried dish with easy-to-find ingredients!

MATERIAL:

Rice cake:

– 2 cups of left-over steamed rice

– 2 tablespoons of tapioca flour

– 4 tablespoons of plain flour

– 4 tablespoons cornstarch

– 1 pinch of salt

– 2 cups of water

– 4 eggs

– 1 handful of green onions

Sauce

– 1 cup of water

– 2 tablespoons of sugar

– 6 tablespoons soy sauce

– 4 tablespoons of vinegar

LET’S GET STARTED:

Put steamed rice, tapioca flour, plain flour, cornstarch, salt and water into a blender, blend well. Then poor into a pre-coated mold with a layer of cooking oil (you can use a heat-resistant glass box) and steam it (about 30-40 minutes depending on the mold size).

After the rice cake is cooked, let it cool and put it in the refrigerator for about 4-6 hours, then take it out of the mold and cut it into thin slices. Fry the cake in a pan with a little oil, add green onions and eggs to your liking

Make dipping sauce: put ingredients for dipping sauce together, adjust according to taste, you can add chili sauce. Put it all on a plate, serve with grated papaya or pickles of your choice
